Serj Tankian to write musical?

According to reports, ex-System of A Down singer Serj Tankian is working on a musical with Tony Award winning playwrite Steven Sater.

Apparently Tankian has already penned eight songs for the show, which is rumoured to be called Prometheus Bound.

“It’s got this amazing ancient Greek verse thing going on with this cool electronic hyperspace rock,” commented Sater to Kerrang! “It’s unlike anything you’ve heard. I just saw [Tankian] in concert, that audience was amazing… I think it will open up really different things for both of us. It’s a really exciting collaboration.”

Can Tankian get any more bizarre? God, we love that guy.
