The birth of e-Mo

For the past few years I’ve been mulling over the idea of creating a magazine for teenage girls, focusing on the emo/goth scene. But you know how it goes, life gets in the way and these ideas seem to get buried under a pile of laundry and deadlines.

But recently the topic came up again and I decided to get off my butt and do something about it. So with the help of my dearest friend, CrazyCatGirl, we’re preparing to launch e-Mo Magazine – an online lifestyle mag for teen girls. Glamour. Gothic. Girls. That will be our mantra, and we think it sums the magazine up pretty well!

Unlike other magazines, we will NOT feature crappy features like “how to tell if a boy fancies you” or “10 ways to tell if your boyfriend is cheating on you” because, quite frankly, we don’t care about that stuff and we’re pretty sure you don’t too.

This magazine focuses on things that girls actually give a damn about; music, films, art, books, spirituality and fashion. As well as daily news and gossip about the scene, we will also regularly update the website with entertaining features and interviews, so pop back each week to see what’s new!
